CZECHOSLOVAKIAN WOLFDOG

CZECHOSLOVAKIAN WOLFDOG (CESKOSLOVENSKY VLCAK) The breed was created by mixing a German shepherd and a European Wolf together. The idea was to use the utility characteristics of German shepherds and improve their sense organs and health condition by mixing them with a wolf blood. The breed is still considerably young, still in the phase of shaping. We would like to promote the knowledge about Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs as dogs meant to work in a widely understood sense: as dogs used socially, making their first steps in rescue or therapy; as dogs that can exercise, train and also take part in obedience, tracing, long distance running, agility, dog relays, protection work or any other activity.

We also want to spread information about certain working Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs, their abilities and achievements. The idea to create this website came up at the end of 2006 after a training seminar in Poznan. That is why we chose to show certain photos and touch upon certain topics. A lot of data is still incomplete – they will be immediately updated if sent. Everybody is welcome to cooperate. We are not interested in breeding names, but the work that your dogs do. All information and photos are welcome.:) We will do all we can to eliminate and correct any mistakes that may appear if you help us find them and send us the correct data.
